Quick Answer
In Wyoming, you apply for TANF through Department of Family Services, online or by phone. Wyoming applies a 30 calendar day application processing time limit to POWER cases, per the SNAP and POWER Policy Manual.
Wyoming brands its TANF cash aid POWER — Personal Opportunities with Employment Responsibilities — and splits it into two tracks: a work-focused POWER Work program for parents, and a separate POWER Caretaker Relative program for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other relatives raising a child whose parents aren't in the home. There's no online application; every applicant downloads a paper form and works through a local Department of Family Services (DFS) office.
